We tailor the sell and rent back scheme to suit your needs, providing you with a short-term or long-term rental solution if you prefer. By doing this you can sell without moving anywhere and can free up money at the same time for other purposes, whilst paying a standard market rent for your house.
In a repossession the lender only gives you back any equity leftover after they have recovered all of their costs and fees from the auction sale of your property. If there is a shortfall (which in many cases there still are) then they will continue to charge you to recover their costs and so you are still kept in debt! You can stop this cycle immediately by coming to us! We clear your debts and you can stay in your own home!
If you are experiencing short-term financial difficulties, you can sell and rent back your home and also retain the option to buy-back. At the time of selling your house we agree a fair price that you can buy the house back from us at, in the future. That way you can stay in your house and free money tied up in it, and still keep the right to buy it back when your situation improves.
We offer a service that can work as fast as you want it to. If you need to sell and rent back very quickly (for example a pressing need for funds or to halt repossession) we can tailor our service to your timescales. Should you desperately need it, we can provide funds in less than seven days.
OK Homebuyers do not charge any fees for any inspection or valuation, or for buying your house, and we even pay up to £500 your legal fees. You don't need to make any payments to us at all to make use of our services.
By law you must be issued with a tenancy agreement which we provide.
If you wish to remain in the property on a short-term basis, then a 6-month Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) for this period will normally suffice. However, if you wish to stay as a tenant on a longer-term basis we offer a longer term tenancy commitment if that's what you need, which is renewed every year.
Please note that all tenancies are subject to you meeting the terms of the agreement. Most importantly, should you default on rental payments you will be in breach of the tenancy.
Regardless of the length of the tenancy you can terminate the tenancy at any time, should you wish. This is important because your circumstances could change and you won't be bound by any lengthy contract.
Your new landlords (OK Homebuyers) stay committed to the tenancy agreement and as such will never enter your property without your permission unless in an emergency or in the event you are vacating.
